(The Muslim prayer has a great light) تُشْرِقُ بِهِ قُلُوبُ الُـمُصَلِّي (by which the hearts of the worshippers are illuminated), وَلَا يَـنَالُـهُ إِلاَّ الْـخَاشِعُونَ (and it [the light] does not reach anyone except the humble].

(So when you come to prayer),  فَفَرِّغْ قَلْبَكَ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا (empty your heart of the world, and what is in it). وَاشْـتَعِلُ بِـمُرَاقَبَةِ مَـوْالَاكَ (and become devoted to paying attention to your Lord) الَّذِي تُـصَلِّى لِـوَجْـهِهِ (Whom you stand before in pray). (And believe firmly that prayer is an act of submission and humbleness for the sake of Allah Glory be to Him), بِـالْـقِيَامِ (by way of the standing) وَالرُّكُـوعِ (and the bowing) وَالسُّجُودِ (and prostrating) وَإِجَـلَالٌ وَ‏تَـعْظِيم لَـهُ (exalting and glorifying Him), بِـالتَّكْبِيرِ (and by means of saying: Allahu Akbar), وَالتَّسْـبِيحِ (saying: Sub˙aana-l-laah) and by وَالذِّكْـرِ (the remembrance of Allah).

فَحَافِظْ عَـلَى صَـلَاتِـكَ (Guard your prayer) فَإنَّهَا أَعْظَمُ الْعِبَادَاتِ (for it is the most important [form] of worship. (And do not allow Shaytaan to play with your heart), ويَـشْغَلُكَ عَـنْ صَـلاَتِـكَ (and distract you from your prayer), حَـتَّى يَـطْمِسَ قَـلْبَكَ (until he destroys your heart), وَيَحْـرِمَكَ مِنْ لَـذَّةِ أَنْـوَارِ الصَّلَاةِ  (and causes you to be cut off from the pleasure of the illuminations of prayer).

Section: ُThe Obligatory Conditions of Ṣalaah [Prayer]

لِـلصَّلَاةِ ‬الـْـمَفْرُوضَـة (The obligatory prayer has) سَـبْعَةُ أَحْـوَال (seven conditions)  مُـرَتَّبَةٍ تُـؤَدَّي عَـلَيْهَا (which are arranged in order of what is preferred). (Four of them are obligatory), وَثَلَاثَةٌ عَلَى الِاسْتِحْبَابِ  (and three of them are recommended).

أَوَّلُـهَا (The first condition is) ‏ ‬الْـقِيَامُ‏ ‬بِـغَيْرِ‏ ‬استِنَادٍ (standing without leaning against anything), ثُـمَّ الْـقِيَامُ بِـاسْـتِنَاد (then standing while leaning against‏ ‬something), ثُـمَّ الْـجُـلُوسُ ‬بِـغَيْرِ‏ ‬استِنَاد (then sitting without resting against anything), then الْـجُـلُوسُ‏ ‬بِـاسْـتِنَاد (sitting while resting against something). فَـالتَّرْتِـيبُ بَـيْـنَ هَـذِهِ الأَرْبَـعَةِ  ([Observing] the correct order of preference among these four positions)  عَلَى الْوُجُوبِ (is obligatory). (If one is able to assume [the preferred position] of them) وَصَـلَّى بِـحَالَـةٍ دُونَـهَا (and he prays without it [the preferable order of these positions]) بَطَلَتْ صَلَاتَهُ (his prayer becomes invalid).

وَالثَّلاَثَـةُ الَّتِي عَـلَى الِاسْـتِحْبَابِ (ُThere are three [positions] which have been recommended)  أَنْ يُـصَلِّيَ الْـعَاجِـزُ عَـلَى هَـذِهِ الثَّلَاثَـةِ الْـمَذْكُـورَةِ (so that the physically weak or disabled person can pray in these three positions that are mentioned); عَـلَى جَـنْبِهِ‏ ‬الأَيْـمَنِ ([they are]: his right side]), ثُـمَّ عَـلَى الأَيْسَرِ (then his left side), ثُـمَّ عَـلَى ظَهْـرِهِ (then his back). (If however, he is inconsistent [in observing sequential order])  فِـي الثَّلَاثَـةِ (in the three positions), لَمْ تَبْطُلُ صَلَاتُهُ (his prayer does not become not nullified).

(As for the the thing used for support) الَّذِي تَـبْطُلُ بِـهِ صَـلَاةُ الْـقَادِرِ (which causes the prayer of the able-bodied person to become nullified) عَـلَى تَـرْكِـهِ (because he can manage without it), هُـوَ الَّذِي يَـسْقُطُ بِسُقُوطِهِ (it is the kind of support which can fall if he falls), وَإِنْ كَانَ لَا يَسْقُطُ بِـسُقُوطِـهِ (and if he does not fall when the support [he is leaning on] falls),  فَهُوَ مَكْرُوهٌ (it is still greatly disliked).

(As for the supererogatory prayer),  فَيَجُوزُ لِلْقَادِرِ عَلَى الْقِيَامِ (it is permissible for the person who is able to stand) أَنْ يُـصَلِّيهَا جَـالِـسًا (to pray sitting). (He receives half of the reward of the standing person). (He is [also] permitted to begin [praying] while sitting), وَيَـقُومُ بَـعْدَ ذالِـكَ (and then to stand after that [to finish the prayer]), أَوْ يَـدْخُـلَهَا قَـائِـمًا  (or to start [the prayer] standing)    وَيجْـلِسَ بَـعْدَ ذالِـكَ(and then sits after that), إِلاَّ أَنْ يَـدْخُـلَهَا بِـنِيَّةِ الْـقِيَامِ فِـيهَا (unless he begins [praying] with the intention to stand throughout it [the prayer]), فِـيَمْتَنِعَ جُـلُوسُـهُ بَـعْدَ ذالِـكَ (in that case, his sitting down after that is prohibited) .

If you say: As salaamu ʿalaykum after this it will suffice (that is to say the recitation of the Tashah-hud would be the last action required before the worshipper close out his prayer with the salaam), however if you desire you can also say (before saying As salaamu ʿalaykum):
